If Havard gets a new trial on the SBS [Shaken Baby Syndrome] claim, it’s likely that Hood’s office won’t even bother to try him again. If they do, Hayne will likely explicitly testify that he does not believe Britt was sexually abused and that he no longer believes she was shaken to death. The state’s case will be weak, Havard will be acquitted, and justice will be served. At least for Havard. "
