This will be done by using the experience and testimonies of offenders themselves (past, present or potential), as well as a variety of humanists, legal professionals, policy makers, and other influential individuals concerned by understanding and promoting the need to address crime outside a strictly legal justice framework.
This project accepts that mere incarceration, or harsh sentencing does not allow always help reduce or prevent crime. It is costly to the tax payers. Experience has also shown that harsh sentencing disintegrates families without necessarily helping the prisoners themselves, let alone Society as a whole.
