A Letter to the Governor of Florida, from a friend of the Lambrix family

1/7/2016

Dear Govenor,

You have the power to stop this execution, Sir, I and others believe this case has been slanted and tainted from the beginning. The witnesses were not truthful. The lead investigator having an affair with a witness. Mr. Lambrix not being able to testify at his trial in his defense. Govenor, as an American, I can say that as long as injustices such as this are allowed to run their course people like me will continue to lose faith in our leaders, our rights as Americans and the human rights we were born with.
Not only will you murder this man, you will murder certain part of his family. I know them personally.
His son, his namesake Mike. Mike's wife Nikki and their children. Mike Lambrix' grandchildren.
They are good people Sir. They are damn good people. I want them to have something to be grateful for. To thank God for...

I would pray that they would be thankful that you stopped this execution. Thankful to know miracles can happen. Please consider how to give Mike Lambrix clemency. A new trial. Please do not kill him after the State has kept him for 31 years.
There should be a due process. Not a process that screams we'll kill em when we get to it.

Version francaise:

Cher Gouverneur,
