Bryan and Pamala Sayasane of San Francisco have recently filed in the California Supreme Court a new Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus that presents astounding new evidence which exonerates him. In collaboration with Amicus and the National Alliance for Arts in Criminal Justice, London based artist Nicola White will be launching a new art exhibition from death row in San Quentin in California. Art Reach, which aims to enable inmates on San Quentin’s death row to express themselves creatively, developed following her own written correspondence with a prisoner over several years.She was put in touch with the prisoner through the charity Lifelines, which finds pen friends for prisoners incarcerated in the US on death row. She says: What I am particularly struck by, ART REACH will be on display at the Made in Greenwich Gallery, London, from 24th June - 6th July 2016.
