ArtReach
In collaboration with Amicus and the National Alliance for Arts in Criminal Justice, London based artist Nicola White will be launching a new art exhibition from death row in San Quentin in California.
Art Reach, which aims to enable inmates on San Quentin’s death row to express themselves creatively, developed following her own written correspondence with a prisoner over several years. She was put in touch with the prisoner through the charity Lifelines, which finds pen friends for prisoners incarcerated in the US on death row. |
